Grounding Yoga trial – Online or In-person

Grounding Yoga 4 week trial  is the first stage of your journey.

If you looking to reduce physical pain, release emotional baggage and feel more aligned in your life your in the right place

Over the 4 weeks together we work to get out of your head and into your body. This is a guided group sessions that leads you through yogic practices initiating change becoming more mindful, present, and self-aware.  Your body is a portal to your true self which we have lost in the business of  life and conditioning,  so we combining yoga, movement, breath work, and educated connection to bring you out of your head and back into your body. Break free from overthinking and step into a more grounded, centred you.

You get 1 group session per week of you chosen session  plus a mini welcome online course in my Healing Within Academy space which helps you make small simple life changes as you work with me over the 4 weeks

In-Person Schedules

Tuesday 9:15-10:30 am Grounding slower pace – No need to rush we take our time breath into poses with supports when needed.

Tuesday Beginners 6 – 7:15 pm – This is for you of you haven’t done Iyengar yoga before and just starting out
Connection to the foundations of movement and strength sets the scene and tone of your practice, they are the building blocks of aligning your body and mind and get you an understanding of how your body works. With mindful awareness, we can correct posture issues, help recover from injuries, and improve our movements to aid sports and daily life.

Tuesday Intermediate at 7:15 – 8:30 am –  Intermediate course is for the regular practitioner who can do inverted work and has an established practice of 3 years minimum Must have all required equipment including a bolster.

Wednesday Beginners 6:30 – 7:45 pm – This is for you of you haven’t done Iyengar yoga before and just starting out

Friday Mixed Ability 9:30-10:45  pm – This mixed-ability course is for practitioners who are beginners or already practising body awareness and can do inversions. All levels are catered for. You will need equipment

On-line  schedules

Monday 6:30-7:30 am Grounding strength and movement. Start the week with strong foundations and movement to ease tension.

Wednesday 6:30-7:30 am Grounding Iyengar yoga a powerful practise to build stamina and strength  working on alignment.

Friday 6:30-7:30 am Grounding rest – restorative session to unravel and unwind for the week preparing for the weekend.

    13 years ago I walked into Janine’s class, a new mother, not confident about my body, wanting a space to find strength and stability. A place for me to nurture my body. Some time just for me. Little did I realise the profound impact this truly skilled teacher of yoga would have on my life. I have found strength and stability not only in my body, but in my breath, my mind and in my spirit. With Janine’s guidance and the friendship bonds of our community I have developed in ways I never thought possible. Gone is the person who really didn’t want to stand on her head because it all felt too difficult, gone is the person who couldn’t support her own body weight with her arms and who doubted she would ever be able to find the strength to develop. Don’t worry what size or shape you are, man or woman, how old you are or what you’re wearing. There is no judgement here. What you will find is a nurturing space for you to safely challenge yourself to develop and grow under the guidance of an extremely skilled teacher. It has been my pleasure and privilege to be with Janine on her journey, to watch her grow as a teacher. I am grateful for her dedication to the development of her teaching and herself as a person, and for the integrity she brings to her work. I am so grateful I walked into her class on that Tuesday evening in September 2008.
